Escalante Golf is currently searching for a remarkable General Manager to drive excellence at this exclusive Private Club. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of club operations and ensuring the highest standards of service and hospitality.
The Gallery Golf Club, located in Tucson Arizona, is a premier private facility. The club encompasses 36 holes of championship golf, full practice facilities, a stand-alone restaurant and bar, fitness center and spa services, pool amenities, tennis and pickleball. As a past host for both the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, the club has a rich history in the game of golf. Members expect the highest standards of service and excellence, as well as, a best in class experience.
Responsibilities:
● Develop strategic plans to enhance the overall club experience.
● Manage daily operations, including staffing, budgeting and facility maintenance.
● Create innovative marketing plans and pricing strategies to attract new members and increase revenue.
● Develop the golf course’s annual budget and monitor the performance of the golf club throughout the year.
● Protects the golf course and its assets through managing a preventative maintenance program.
● Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly and respectful manner.
● Maintains exceptional member retention by creating an environment with excellent hospitality, programming and quality maintenance.
● Identify opportunities for member events, food and beverage services and golf operations that foster member satisfaction.
Qualifications:
● 5 years or more of experience within the golf or hospitality industry.
● Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or similar is preferred.
● CMAA certification or PGA Member is a plus.
● Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
● Proven Business Developer
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Disciplined Leader (Experience with 4 Disciplines of Execution Preferred)
The compensation listed includes base salary and bonus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $200,000.00 – $250,000.00 per year
