Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club in Ocean View, Delaware has appointed Kellie Pitts as its new general manager. In this role, Pitts will oversee all operations of the 27-hole facility, including golf operations, membership, agronomy, and food and beverage services. She will also manage Coastal Kitchen, the club’s popular dining venue open to both members and the public.

Pitts began her career at Bear Trap Dunes in 2007 as membership sales coordinator. In 2009, she transferred to Bayside Resort Golf Club, progressing through leadership positions before becoming assistant general manager in 2021. Bayside, an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature course, is also managed by Troon and owned by Carl M. Freeman Companies.

A native of nearby Frankford, Delaware, Pitts graduated from Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington with degrees in Human Resources Management and Business Administration.
